Coaching as defined by the International Coach Federation is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximize personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.

Client is responsible for creating and implementing their own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and interactions with the Coach. As such, the Client agrees that the Coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach. Client understands that coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease. The Client understands that coaching is not to be used as substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business, or other qualified professionals.

Even though the Coach might be a medical doctor, Coaching does not equal to providing healthcare and is not covered by health insurance. Coaching is not a substitute for an appointment with a healthcare specialist. The Coach can give an opinion on the Client´s health condition but does not perform physical examination or any laboratory testing and is not responsible for the Client´s medical treatment and follow-up. The Client is advised to continue with his/her regular treatment and doctor appointments.

Client acknowledges that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of his or her life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. The Client agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching principles into those areas and implementing choices is exclusively the Client’s responsibility.

Client acknowledges that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association (The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5)), and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is the Client’s exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. If Client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that the Client promptly informs the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship agreed upon by the Client and the Coach.

Client understands that in order to enhance the coaching relationship, the Client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the program. The Coach supports and assists the Client in reaching his/her goals, but the Client´s success depends primarily on his/her own effort, motivation, commitment and follow-through. The Coach cannot and does not guarantee that the Client will attain a particular goal and he/she accepts and understands that results differ by each individual based on their background, dedication, will, and motivation, and a variety of additional factors. The Coach makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied.

Part of V360coaching® are V360body® and V360yoga® which involve physical activity and exercise. The Coach will adopt the activity to Client´s needs and his/her fitness level. The Client who wishes to participate in V360body® and V360yoga® acknowledges that all exercise involves a risk of personal injury, including a small risk of serious injury or death. The Client declares that he/she suffers from NO medical or physical condition or disability that will or might increase the normal risks associated with exercise. The Client declares that he/she was not forbidden to engage into sports or physical activity by a healthcare professional nor was he/she forbidden to engage into a specific physical activity. Should the Client´s health condition change in any way (new disease, injury, etc.), he/she must inform the Coach as soon as possible. The Client must inform the Coach in case he/she feels any pain or discomfort during the exercise or if he/she perceives any of the exercises as unsafe or uncomfortable. The Coach cannot guarantee that The Client will not suffer from any injury arising directly or indirectly out of V360body®/ V360yoga® or that his/her fitness will measurably improve as a result of participation in V360body®/ V360yoga®.

Should the Client become involved in unethical situations during the course of the coaching relationship these will be discussed and reviewed in an appropriate and responsible manner. Should they not be resolved the coaching relationship may be dissolved at the discretion of the Coach (e.g. illegal activity on the part of the client, conflicts of interest, or other matters of professional ethical nature).
